Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1963 Ford GALAXIE 500 recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: The Galaxie was produced as a full size car by Ford for model years 1959-1974. The name was used for Fords top models. From 1960-1964 the same platform was used with some styling changes but the 1963 model year went essentially unchanged from the previous year with the exception of some trim. This particular Galaxie is finished in Corinthian White over a very unique interior color. The car recently comes out of long term storage and has recently undergone a fluid flush, brakes, wheel cylinders etc The car runs and drives very nice starts perfectly with a working power convertible top, AM Radio, all lights and wipers. This is a very cool car to get in and drive or would make a good candidate for any type of restoration you wanted to do. The car was just driven a couple hundred miles to our shop from a long time consignor.
