Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1965 Ford MUSTANG recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1965 Ford MUSTANG problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: 1965 Mustang with a built 289 with a five speed TKO tranny with a Detroit Locker 456 gear rear end built by Strange! This car belonged to a good friend of ours and he is one of the most intelligent guys there is when it comes to Fords and the way they should be built set up and ran. When he bought the car back in 2005 it was already set up for the strip. The car won many races and actually set track records in its class. Since then he tamed it down quite a bit but it will still throw your head back when you run it through the gears! The 289 was bored 30 over blue printed and balanced and the heads were ported and polished using Chevy 202 intake valves with roller rockers. The 625 cfm Demon carb is set up perfectly. It has a shatterproof bell housing attached to that TKO 5 Speed on a "housed" driveshaft for safety. It has a very cool 1965 Accel dual point distributor with a cable drive for the tach! It also features a "Line Lock" just in case you want to take it out to the track for some real fun. There's lots of extra speed parts (cam carb rear end wheelie bars suspension...etc) that was on the car when it was raced that will come with the car. The paint chrome trim and glass are like new with no issues whatsoever. The body panels are ALL original and there is no bondo or rust on this car anywhere. The finish on the paint is like a mirror! The miles are actual to the car! The trunk has an auxiliary 1.5 gallon tank that is switchable so you can put racing fuel in it for track days. This car now runs on 89 octane pump gas with no hesitation or knocking. This is one beautiful and fast Mustang Fastback that just needs a new driver to take over and have some fun with. Financing available shipping to anywhere in the world. Test drives with approved financing/cash in hand only. Trades welcome.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMwWlCZMgkY&t=3sVisit Vail's Classic Cars Inc. online at vailsclassics.com to see more pictures of this vehicle or call us at 317-462-7705 today to schedule a viewing inspection or test drive (not applicable for all vehicles).
