Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1931 Ford MODEL A recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1931 Ford MODEL A problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: Local Consignment, no dealer tax. There's much to say about this awesome hot rod. Current owner purchased from gentleman who owned the truck for the past 60+ years, and had done all of the work to it. Frame off restoration, rebuilt 289, C4 transmission, Ford 9, coil overs, 3 drop spindles, front disc, American racing wheels, fuel cell, to list just a few things. Truck starts right up with no problem, shifts well and has plenty of power. Im assuming the hood has never been on the car from a permanent stand point, because there are no brackets to hold down the side panels. Which is why in the pictures the bottoms flare out. Tires are like new, odometer shows 890 miles. Will have more information here in the near future and will be doing a video to give a better feel for overall condition. Thanks for taking a look and please reach out or stop in if you'd like to get a closer look.
